All the members of this ensemble have played for us before - three from the Tokai Quartet, Lynn from several with Alexander Tselyakov. and Shoshana as a soloist, duo partner, and more! So we’re happy to be able to pressent them all together. It’s a classy ensemble! [note: their ousual violis is Theresa Ru0dolph, who is Associate Pincipal viola, TSO. After this date was fixed, she suddenly was dalled to duty by her orchestra. Replacing her (and pictured) is Car3olyno Blackwell, who is one of othe prominent musicians-around-town in Toronto, and has played in too many ensembles to name (including one at the Music Room.)
[Note that although it’s a Sunday, the concert has to be in the evening at our ousual hour, 8:00)
Their program consists of what many regard as THE best two quintets ever! At any rate, it’s a program that every chamber music lover can enjoy.
Sunday, April 24, 2022 (8:00 p.m.)
